Puerto La Cruz

It’s been a while my friends! Grades due last week, I was away last weekend, this week was parent teacher conferences… It’s been crazy! Some updates: 1.    I went to a beautiful place called Puerto La Cruz. We spent the weekend on boats—the same boat my family had growing up. We were so exhausted from the days that we didn’t do much exploring but we did go out to dinner. My wonderful friends really took care of me. I had not one but two birthday dinners!! The food was excellent but the company was even better. On the day of my birthday, I got many unexpected texts and emails from my students wishing me a very happy birthday! It was adorable. 2.       Tuesday when we got back from our 3-day weekend, the day was extremely chaotic. I didn’t stop moving. I got an email from my principal around 11:00 asking me to meet with her about our trip to Orlando at 12:10, which is right in the middle of our writing block. So I nearly missed the me...

A Day in the Life

Hello Blog Fans, I would like to take this time to appreciate you for supporting my blog. I love you. Things have been pretty uneventful here—which I think is a good thing! I signed up for the gym and tonight was the first time I went!! I have had enough of my lazy self. The days go by so quickly for me, I am always busy. This Friday is the end of my First Quarter at school, so I’m getting those reports ready! I’m also going to be advising a few high school girls in their goal to recreate the play, “Annie”, which they performed when they were in elementary school at EBV. I of course made sure to tell them I was VERY experienced with Annie because of my part in a talent show in elementary school where I wore a pink feather boa (which tangled and knotted around my neck) and played the mean, witchy lady that owned the orphanage. While I’m sure I did not need to take on more than I already have, I couldn’t be more excited!!!! Let’s face it, when can I have this opportunity again?! ...
