A Day in the Life

Hello Blog Fans,

I would like to take this time to appreciate you for supporting my blog. I love you. Things have been pretty uneventful here—which I think is a good thing! I signed up for the gym and tonight was the first time I went!! I have had enough of my lazy self. The days go by so quickly for me, I am always busy. This Friday is the end of my First Quarter at school, so I’m getting those reports ready! I’m also going to be advising a few high school girls in their goal to recreate the play, “Annie”, which they performed when they were in elementary school at EBV. I of course made sure to tell them I was VERY experienced with Annie because of my part in a talent show in elementary school where I wore a pink feather boa (which tangled and knotted around my neck) and played the mean, witchy lady that owned the orphanage. While I’m sure I did not need to take on more than I already have, I couldn’t be more excited!!!! Let’s face it, when can I have this opportunity again?!

This is a difficult time of year for me to be away from home because of all of the excitement—Chelsea’s birthday, Rachel and my birthday, Dad’s birthday, Halloween traditions, and the first signs of autumn. I am always thinking about it, especially in this heat. This weekend is a three day weekend for us, just as I’m used to at home. A big group of us are going to a place called Puerto La Cruz, where I will hopefully get my tan back! From the pictures I’ve seen, it looks like paradise, and right now, I need some paradise!!!! I will make sure to take lots of exciting pictures for you all. Today was our EBV spirit day, I painted my face this morning, but then I found out that face paint is against the rules! LOL But I did get a selfie so good for me, right?!
