A Fabulous 22nd Birthday Weekend!
OF course, Mrs. Wells sends me another care package, this one is clearly Halloween themed. She is the sweetest!!!
Some of my favorite Londoners came out to celebrate my birthday with me :) We went to a pub, and then went to a bar called "Barrio Central"--it had two floors, one with a dance floor and the other with a huge bar. It was a great night :)
BIRTHDAY PRINCESS.
They all chipped in to by me this TO DIE FOR victoria sponge cake.
Even though I was really sad to be away from my family, I was so thankful to have such thoughtful friends to make my birthday special anyway :)
Ended my night with some exploring!
The rest of the weekend: A group of us drove 5 hours to the Lake District. We climbed up to the top of Mt. Helvellyn, the second tallest mountain in England. Hiked 3,117 feet, glad I survived because I'll never have a work out like that again in my life.
Cute hiking boots right?! They actually saved me from breaking both of my tiny ankles.
At this point we probably had been hiking for 20 minutes, and we were already sweating, out of breath, and lagging behind!
Capturing the degree of these slopes was impossible.
The sun peaked out from behind for a little while at least!
Needed a little breaky break!
This was the terrain of the second half of the trip up to the top.
Little did we know that the trip going back down would be even harder than the way up!
When we finally got down to the bottom of the mountain, I met a really cute puppy, his name was Levi.
Naturally, we went to a pub called The White Lion that night...
Cute little bunk beds in the hostel we stayed in
Well there's something you don't see every day!
So Holiday-esque!
This is Paully. He is a wonderful lad!
Needless to say, with the 6.5 hour drive back today, nearly all of the muscles in my body are screaming for help. It was a perfect 22nd birthday weekend. I wouldn't have wanted to celebrated any other way!
