Windsor Castle and Eton College
This is where the Queen lives!
Got to see the changing of the guards out of pure luck
.
And I obviously needed some of these... :)
Selfiessss!
If I owned a pub in Windsor, this is exactly what it would look like.
Went on the Queen's Walk!
Puppy that sniffed out our bags before entering Eaton College.
Eaton is one of the most prestigious independent schools in England. It costs about 40,000 pounds a year to go there. If admitted to the school by passing their multiple exams, students begin at age 13 and graduate at age 18. This secondary school is nicer than most colleges I've been to. It looks like a mini Oxford University.
Both Prince William and Prince Harry went to Eaton, and this is the building that they lived in for the 5 years they attended.
This is the first classroom ever built at Eaton. They still use it today, which was hard for me to believe. It is divided into 4 sections (this is only 1), so 4 lessons will be taught at a time. The tables and benches are 300 years old.
The dome is their library. The building to the left is one of the houses that students live in.
Boys getting out of class--I swear they looked like little grown ups.
They each carried themselves with unbelievable confidence.
I'm left wondering what the conversation would be like if I spoke with them...
