Naples--Pompeii--Positano--Capri

After we left Rome, we stayed in Naples for the next three days and were able to visit a few incredible places!

Naples wasn't EXACTLY what we expected but we definitely found the right places to go... eventually...

Some entertainment on the train

Naples...lol.

Famous pizzeria in Naples, brick oven pizza; actually in the movie Eat. Pray. Love. My pizza was 3 euro. A win win win all around!

This is Grandpa; Alexa and I bought a bottle of wine from him each night. We love and miss him dearly. On our last night in Naples we had to open a bottle of wine and cheers to meeting him!

And we had to introduce everyone else to Grandpa too!!

POMPEII

Mount Vesuvius was the volcano that erupted in 79 a.d, leaving aPompeii in ruins.

What is left of Pompeii is amazing.

When the arena was filled with people, the speaker had to shout closely to these steps to produce an echo so that everyone could hear them... So naturally I wanted to try it out :)

POSITANO

This is considered a beach in Italy-- It wasn't exactly as comfortable as the soft sand at home though

CAPRI

We took a 2 hour private boat ride around the island, and then explored the town. I wish I could say I edited these pics to make the water so blue, but I didn't touch them!!

A little bit of R&R never hurt anyone :)

Had to take a pic of this sign; my roommates call me Donna (how foreigners pronounce my name), so I thought of my twinny Rachel and I :)
