Relaxing--Sort of
This weekend I finally stayed in London, I've missed it after doing so much travelling. I was able to relaxxxx for ALMOST the whole weekend and be on my own schedule. So this is a bunch of activities thrown into one post!
PS-- 30 days until I come home!
Last Wednesday I went to see Woodlands School, a school for students with severe disabilities. The teachers were amazing, the students were so inspiring, and what was most eye opening was to see how different students nonverbally communicate with teachers.
So if you know me, this outfit is pretty typical of my lounging around laziness. Even more typical, is that I had no idea what I looked like until someone pointed it out. I thought it was definitely note-worthy.
Just your every day Lamborghini parked on a side street in London.
Porterhouse!!! Meet The Dons! This is a three floor pub with live music. They never disappoint us :) Jilly and I made friends with the band!
Rachel let me see the pup when we face timed the other night!! I MISS THIS SWEETNESS!
I went to the British National Library on Friday.. It was SO COOL! They had a whole section of famous children's literature, the Magna Carta, original Beatles lyrics, and SOOO much more.
Paddington the Bear!! Original artwork (I obviously had to buy the book).
Alexa and I explored South Kensington, and stumbled upon Chelsea! I miss my big sister!!
On Saturday we took a trip to the small city of Bath. We were greeted by our tour guide with the most hilarious sign ever. I guess that is phonetically correct--Or is this the UK version of UCONN? She was the sweetest little lady!
I belong in a cafe.
Look at that gorgeous, green, steamy water!
And then we went out--Jodi, Katie, Jilly, Brian and I :)
Sunday, Katie and I took a walk around Regent Street to get a little taste of Christmas in London!
AND FINALLY, Jess G and I went to a theatrical concert called "Let It Be"--felt like I actually watched the Beatles live!
Dana ! I love this blog! So cool :)
